"ERASMUS+, ERASMUS MUNDUS, JEAN MONNET, MOBILITY WITH PARTNER COUNTRIES, AND BIP MEETING HELD AT BURSA ULUDAĞ UNIVERSITY
An informational meeting on “Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus, Jean Monnet, Mobility with Partner Countries, and BIP” organized by the Erasmus Coordination Office of Bursa Uludağ University, was held on October 23, 2024, at the university campus.
The meeting began with opening speeches by Bursa Uludağ University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. İfran Kırıştıoğlu and Erasmus Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Recep Yücedoğru. In his speech, Kırıştıoğlu emphasized the importance that the university administration attaches to the Erasmus Program and other international projects, while Yücedoğru highlighted the opportunities that the Erasmus program and projects would offer.
Dr. Volkan Kahraman, the Erasmus Office Manager, gave a detailed presentation on the history of the Erasmus program, explaining its development and the opportunities it offers to the participants.
The meeting continued with Damla Eldeleklioğlu Onuk, a program expert from the Erasmus Coordination Office, providing detailed information about Erasmus+. Onuk focused on the structure of Erasmus programs, which enable student and academic staff mobility between different countries. After discussing the details of the Erasmus Mundus joint master's program, the Jean Monnet program, and the Mobility with Partner Countries program, she provided information on the Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) and the new Erasmus projects for the upcoming term. Emphasizing the innovative structure of the program and the educational opportunities it offers, participants were informed about the projects that enable students, researchers, and academics to gain international experiences.
Following the Q&A session, the online survey prepared by Onuk was completed by the attending academics. The survey results gathered data on which projects the academics would participate in during future workshops."
