Escape Path, trained by our graduate student Oktay DEMİR, won the Joe Clarke Race.

The race (KV-8) held in memory of the late Joe Clarke, a full member of the TJK who passed away in 1983, started on Sunday, September 15 at 16:30 at the Istanbul Veliefendi Racecourse.

The race, in which 2-year-old thoroughbred English colts competed, was held on a synthetic track over a distance of 1500 meters.

Escape Path (Euprhates - Bahtıyarlı / Torok), owned by Mahmut CANLIKA, won the 2024 Joe Clarke Race under the management of jockey Mehmet KAYA.

The red colt, trained by our graduate student Oktay DEMİR, recorded his 3rd first place in total with his performance.

At the ceremony held after the race, Patrick Clarke presented the cup to trainer Oktay DEMİR on behalf of the owner of the winning thoroughbred.

TJK General Accountant Adil Mert KAYA, TJK Audit Board Member İlyas İLBEY and TJK Full Member Yaman ZİNGAL also attended the ceremony.
