4 more undergraduate programs of Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) Faculty of Education were entitled to be accredited for a period of 3+2 years as a result of the
evaluation made by the Teacher Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (EPDAD) in the 2023-2024 period.
As a result of the evaluation made according to EPDAD's Standards to be Used in the Evaluation and Accreditation of Undergraduate Programs, it was decided to accredit 4
more undergraduate programs for 3+2 years in addition to the 4 undergraduate programs at BUU Faculty of Education. Accordingly, the Faculty of Education's Classroom
Teaching, Preschool Teaching, Art Teaching and Turkish Language Teaching undergraduate programs were entitled to receive an accreditation certificate until 2029. The
Faculty of Education has achieved significant success with its 8 accredited programs.
THE JOURNEY TO THE SUMMIT CONTINUES
Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. BUU Rector Prof. hosted Salih Çepni, Deputy Deans, Department Heads and academicians. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz thanked everyone who contributed
to the success. Rector Prof. emphasized that they have initiated an all-out quality move at the university. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz announced that they have come a long way in
a short time. Pointing out that hard work and determination are necessary for success, Prof. Dr. Yilmaz; “It is very important to reach the top in quality. But what is more
difficult is to stay at that top. In this sense, our Faculty of Education achieved a result that will set an example for our other non-accredited units. I would like to thank everyone
who contributed to the success. The accreditation certification process continues in our other departments and faculties. "I believe we will receive good news from them soon,"
he said.
A TOTAL OF 8 PROGRAMS WERE ACCREDITED
Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Salih Çepni also said; “We would like to thank our Rector, Prof., who has supported our Faculty from the very beginning of this
self-sacrificing journey. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz, the members of the accreditation commission who worked hard in the accreditation commissions for 2 years and wrote the
self-evaluation reports and made the necessary preparations, the management of our faculty, the heads of departments and departments, the faculty members who supported
the process, our dear students, the administrators of our practice schools, and our practice teachers. We would like to thank all the staff of our faculty and the valuable
administrators and evaluators of EPDAD for their contributions to the process. We increased the number of accredited programs to 8. "We hope that this success will carry our
Faculty to many more successes in its quality journey and that it will be beneficial to our higher education system, university, faculty and departments," he said.
