About Department

Bursa Uludag University Faculty of Fine Arts Graphic Design Department aims to train qualified graduates in the integrity of art, design and practice by aiming for an art education that can be defined at national and international level in accordance with the needs and conditions of the university, city and country. The Department of Graphic Design aims to educate graphic designer and artist candidate students as designers who can solve all kinds of visual design problems, competently use the technological equipment required by the period we live in, researcher, creative, cultured, and develop the aesthetic values of society through art and graphic design. Since graphic design is a field that raises awareness about worldwide environmental, global problems and sustainability issues in terms of social responsibility, it is aimed that graphic design students adopt the important role for them.

The undergraduate program of the Department of Graphics consists of theoretical and applied lessons. Students specialize in various disciplines of graphic design through theoretical and practical  lessons for creativity and technical competence during their four-year education. The development of communication technology has brought countries and cultures closer to each other. These developments have increased the importance of promotion and advertisement. The Department of graphic design, which constantly renews its course content with the developments, aims to train competent individuals who will work as original designers in the field of desktop publishing, television generics, video editing, packaging design, corporate identity design, animation, interactive media web portal design, all communication and promotion designs.
