We all sincerely thank you for choosing our faculty and deciding to be a part of this family. We are very excited, and happy to have you among us.
As the School of Health, our educational journey, which started in 1997-1998 academic year with the Nursing, and Health Officer Programs. Until the establishment of the Faculty of Health Sciences in 2016, only Department of Nursing continued to admit students. In the following process, we actively continue our education and training activities with three departments, by adding candidates in "Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department", and then in “Nutrition and Dietetics Department".
We are aware that your university journey, which will form a part of your life, will be an important experience for you. Our greatest wish is to contribute to you as a part of this experience, to support your success, to see each of you join the health army as an individual who makes a difference with the education you will receive here, to encourage you as you sail to new horizons, and to light your way.
The need for nurses, physiotherapists and dietitians who can keep up with technology, which is accelerating day by day, follow current developments, draw their strength from scientific knowledge, have all the competencies of the profession they represent, and always improve and renew themselves, is increasing. With this awareness, we anticipate that we will contribute to your development with our curriculum, course contents, and academic staff who are competent in their fields, which we harmonize with both national and international programs.
We also care that you have international experience with the ERASMUS programs offered by our university. We know that the courses you take from different fields will give you a different perspective. We hope that, thanks to your participation in social events and the friendships you will establish, you will prepare for life and complete this process efficiently, with strong equipment not only academically but also socially.
