GENERAL INFORMATION
Our institute was established under Article 30 of Law No. 2809 dated 28.03.1983, by the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 01.02.2010 and numbered 2010/103, and was published in the Official Gazette on February 26, 2010, issue No. 27505.
The Departments of Foreign Language Education, Educational Sciences, Primary Education, Fine Arts Education, Turkish Education, and Primary Religious Culture and Ethics Education, previously under the Graduate School of Social Sciences of our university, were transferred to our institute by decision No. 03 taken at the Senate Meeting of our university on 16.07.2010, session No. 2010/10, and the letter of the Higher Education Council Presidency dated 19.10.2010 and numbered 38024.
Since the Fall Semester of the 2010-2011 academic year, our institute has started its graduate education activities with a total of 146 students in 6 Departments, including 26 Doctoral and 120 Master's programs. In light of new developments, our institute has academically strengthened over time and continues its activities in the 2023-2024 academic year with a total of 1,349 students in 9 Departments, including 242 Doctoral, 722 Master's, and 385 Non-Thesis Master's programs.
Our institute primarily aims to conduct postgraduate studies, research, and projects in the field of educational sciences and teacher training.
