The orientation training for the first-year students who have just started the Nursing Department in the 2024-2025 Academic Year was organized by the Nursing Department Orientation Committee.

The orientation training program was held face-to-face on September 30, 2024 between 13:00-17:00 in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office Building Police Officer İbrahim Akın Hall with the participation of first-year students who have just started the department, Faculty and Nursing Department administrators and academic staff. The program started with the opening speeches of Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÖZYAZICIOĞLU and Department Head Prof. Dr. Neriman AKANSEL. Following the opening speeches, the program continued with the “Department Introduction and Information (HEPDAK-YÖKAK)” presentation by Department Head Prof. Dr. Neriman AKANSEL and the orientation training presentation by Commission member Lect. Dr. Aylin PALLOŞ. In the presentation, within the scope of students' adaptation to the university, faculty and department; introduction of the department and quality processes, education-training processes, introduction of the academic/administrative staff in the department, development opportunities and scientific-social activities were included. Following the presentations, the program concluded with the presentation of Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nursel VATANSEVER on “Education-Training System and Legislation” and Commission Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek YILMAZ on “Nurses' Roles and Responsibilities”.

Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nurcan ÖZYAZICIOĞLU and Department Head Prof. Dr. Neriman AKANSEL thanked the Head of the Nursing Department Orientation Commission Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek YILMAZ and the members of the Commission Assist. Prof. Dr. Hülya YILMAZ, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aylin PALLOŞ and 4th Year Nursing Department Student Representative Ömer DEMİR for their efforts in organizing the program.
