To train nurses who are innovative and have leadership qualities, who provide care with a holistic and humanistic approach towards protecting and improving the health of the society, who have problem-solving and research skills, and who are preferred due to their professional performance.

 

VISION

Our mission is to be a department that makes a difference with its nursing education, practice and research at national and international standards, is open to change and development, and is exemplary with the people it trains and the knowledge it produces.

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

1. Our graduates are employed as nurses in public or private health institutions, factories and schools.

2. Our graduates take into account relevant legislation and professional values ​​and ethical principles when fulfilling their professional roles and responsibilities.

3. Our graduates provide nursing care based on evidence and with a holistic approach specific to the individual and maintain effective communication with the healthy/sick individual, their family, and other members of the healthcare team.

4. Our graduates take responsibility in field-related research and continue their career development by being lifelong learners, open to innovations and following academic developments.
