It was one of the first programmes at our school which started education as Pruning and Grafting Programme in 1986. The name of our programme was changed as  Greenhousing, Pruning and Grafting Programme, Greenhousing Programme, The Programme of Growing Ornamental Plants and Greenhousing and lastly as The Programme of Growing Ornamental Plants in 1990, 1993, 2006 and 2009 respectively. Our programme offers basic courses such as Plant Growing Techniques, Plant Identification, The Growing of Indoor and Outdoor Ornamental Plants, The Growing of Cut Flowers, The Growing of Seasonal Flowers and Diseases and Insects of Ornamental Plants together with up-to-date optional courses such as Vegetable Growing, Greenhouse Construction Techniques and Organic Agriculture. The Programme of Growing Ornamental Plants provides formal education in its building in the campus of Uludağ University.
