Faculty of Arts and Sciences - Department of History of Art has been established in 1993 and in the first students who were were admitted in the academic year 1999/2000 graduated in 2003. The department is specialized on the Turkish and Islamic Art, but Western Art, Contemporary Arts as well as Byzantine Art are branches which are represented in the program. There are 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 3 assistant professors and 3 lecturers. Students who have successfully completed all the requirements of the program (eg providing the credits for the course credits) will graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Art History.
