Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Art History has been established in 1993 and in the first students who were admitted in the academic year 1999/200 graduated in 2003. The department is specilized on the Turkish and Islamic art, but western art, contemporary arts  as well as Byzantine art are branches, which are represented in the program will graduate with a bachelor degree in the Art History.
