What is Erasmus Exchange Programme?
Erasmus Programme is a programme that includes mutual student and faculty exchanges within the scope of Lifelong Learning and Youth Programmes implemented by the European Union in the field of education and youth until 2013. It provides financial support for higher education institutions to produce and implement joint projects with each other and to carry out short-term student and staff exchanges. Since 2014, its scope has been expanded and transformed into Erasmus+ Programme.
The Erasmus+ Programme covers education, training, youth, and sports.
General Application Requirements for the Erasmus Exchange Programme
To benefit from the Erasmus+ programme, you must take an English exam. The exam schedule for each semester is announced on the Erasmus Coordination Office website. You can apply for the exam via UKEY.
For undergraduate students, a minimum GPA of 2.20 and a minimum B2 (75) score in the desired language type are the general conditions for applying to Erasmus.
