Innovations and developments in the field of science and technology have revealed the necessity for individuals who perform the teaching profession or who want to become teachers to improve themselves. In line with this necessity, our Department aims to train Turkish teachers who protect and maintain their national values, have the knowledge, skills and competencies required by the age, are ethical, selfless, can think critically and creatively, are entrepreneurial and devoted to the teaching profession. The competent faculty members of our Department strive to fulfil their duties in the best way possible in order to train teachers who will perform the education and teaching of Turkish as a mother tongue and foreign language in our undergraduate and graduate programmes.
