What is the Erasmus Exchange Program?
The Erasmus Program is an initiative established under the Lifelong Learning and Youth Programs implemented by the European Union until 2013. It involves reciprocal exchange opportunities for students and academic staff. The program provides non-refundable financial support to higher education institutions to develop and implement joint projects and facilitate short-term student and staff exchanges. In 2014, the program was expanded and transformed into the Erasmus+ Program, encompassing education, training, youth, and sports fields.
To benefit from the Erasmus+ Program, students must have a minimum cumulative GPA (General Academic Average) of 2.20 and a minimum B2 (75) proficiency level in the required language.
